25 Gorgeous Eid Girls Hairstyle Ideas
If you’re a mum like me, you know that getting your daughters ready for Eid is both exciting and slightly chaotic!
I’ve got three daughters (16, 6, and 5) and every Eid morning is like running a salon from my living room.
My 16 year old thinks she knows exactly what she wants until she sees herself in the mirror, my 6 year old wants “princess hair” (whatever that means changes every five minutes) and my 5 year old just wants to look like her big sister.
Meanwhile, I’m trying to get everyone ready, do my makeup and somehow leave the house on time for Eid prayer.
Spoiler alert: we’re usually late.
After 16 years as a professional hairdresser and bridal hair stylist, I’ve learned exactly which hairstyles work for real life and which ones only look good on Pinterest.
I’ve done hair for countless Eid celebrations and I know what actually stays in place when your daughter is running around with her cousins, what works with hijab and what can be done in under 10 minutes when you’re already running late.
Over here I’m sharing 25 Eid girls hairstyle ideas that actually work.
From toddlers to teens, from super simple to fancy special occasion styles check it out…

Understanding Different Age Groups
Toddlers (2-4 years): Keep it SIMPLE. They won’t sit still for long. Cute accessories do half the work.
Young Girls (5-10 years): Want to feel special, can sit still longer, love accessories and embellishments.
Tweens/Teens (11+): Have strong opinions, want sophisticated styles, may wear hijab.

Common Mistakes I’ve Made
Mistake 1: Trying New Style on Eid Morning Attempted elaborate updo on my eldest. Took 45 minutes. Looked rubbish. We were late. Lesson: ALWAYS practice beforehand!
Mistake 2: Using Too Much Product Used too much gel on my 6-year-old. Her hair looked crispy. Lesson: Less is more!
Mistake 3: Ignoring Comfort Did tight style. Daughter complained all day. Lesson: If they say it’s too tight, believe them!

- Celebrating beauty appropriately
My Thoughts
The hairstyle doesn’t have to be perfect. Your daughter doesn’t need to look like she stepped out of a magazine. What matters is that she feels special, celebrated, and loved on Eid day.
Some of my favorite Eid memories aren’t when their hair looked “perfect” it’s the giggles while styling, the excitement when they first saw themselves, the photos where their joy shines through.
So yes, try these hairstyles. Practice them. Have fun.
But if Eid morning is chaotic and you end up with a simple ponytail? That’s absolutely fine. Your daughter is beautiful because of who she is, not her hairstyle.
Eid Mubarak! May your daughters feel beautiful, your morning be smooth, and your Eid be filled with joy. Ameen!
Your Turn!
